Child safety standards

We do not tolerate, under any circumstances, the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors. It is forbidden to:

• Publish, share, request or link to child sexual abuse material, whether real, drawn or generated by artificial intelligence.
• Publish images, videos, texts or comments that sexualize a minor.
• Approach a minor, gain their trust or contact them for sexual purposes (grooming).
• Threaten or blackmail someone with intimate images (sextortion), especially a minor.
• Promote or facilitate the trafficking or exploitation of minors in any way.
• Use the app to carry these behaviors outside of it.

Dios es Amor is only for people aged 18 or over. We ask for the date of birth when the account is created and verify it on our servers: if the person is not yet 18, the account is not created. If we detect an account belonging to a minor, we delete it.

The app is also designed to reduce risk: there are no chats, groups or private messages, everything published is public, an automatic filter checks text before it is published, and anyone can report and block with one tap.

On a post or a comment, tap the three dots (···) and choose Report. To report a person, open their profile and tap the three dots at the top right. Choose the reason and tap “Send report”. The reported person does not know who reported them.

You can follow the status of your report in the Menu › My reports. If you no longer want to see that person, you can also block them.

Anyone, with or without an account, can write to us at diosesamorporsiempre.cloud@gmail.com with the subject “Child safety”. If you can, include the profile name, the link or a description of the post, and the date. Do not send us abuse images: just tell us where they are.

If a child is in immediate danger, first call the police or the emergency services in your country. You can also report child sexual abuse material directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org, or to the reporting hotline in your country.

Reports involving minors are the top priority of our moderation team and are reviewed as soon as possible, always within 24 hours. When we confirm a violation:

• We remove the content from the app immediately.
• We permanently close the responsible account and prevent it from signing up again.
• We securely preserve the evidence and the account data needed for the investigation, for as long as the law requires, even if the person deletes their account.
• We report the case to NCMEC and to the competent authorities of Nicaragua or of the relevant country, as the law requires.
• We cooperate with the authorities investigating the case and respond to their legal requests.

We comply with the child protection laws that apply to us, including those of Nicaragua and of the countries where the app is offered, as well as the Google Play and App Store child safety policies. When the law requires us to report or to preserve information, we do so.
